Description

This Horchata Latte (Hot or Iced!) brings together the delightful flavors of creamy rice milk, cinnamon, and coffee. It’s easy to prepare and perfect for a cozy morning or an afternoon boost. Treat yourself to this irresistible drink that makes every sip a comforting experience!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rice milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 shots espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Ice (for iced version)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the rice milk over medium heat until warm.
  2. Stir in the ground cinnamon and sugar until dissolved.
  3. Prepare 2 shots of espresso or strong coffee.
  4. Pour the warm rice milk mixture over the espresso in a mug for a hot latte.
  5. For an iced version, fill a glass with ice, pour the espresso, then add the cinnamon rice milk mixture.
  6. Top with whipped cream if desired and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes

Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less sugar.
You can also use almond milk or oat milk for a different flavor.
Store any extra rice milk in the refrigerator for up to a week.
