- 2 tsp. cooking oil
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup yellow mustard
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
Instructions
- Rinse the corned beef and pat it dry with a paper towel.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add cooking oil to coat the bottom.
- Once hot, brown the meat on all sides.
- Transfer the browned corned beef to the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine the maple syrup, mustard, black pepper, and minced garlic, then pour over the meat in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours without opening the lid during cooking.
- Serve with your preferred sides, such as mashed red potatoes and steamed carrots.
