Description

This Rice Krispie Treats for Valentine recipe combines marshmallows, rice krispies, and white chocolate for a sweet and simple dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 tablespoon butter unsalted
  • 12 ounce mini marshmallows
  • 7 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 5 ounce white chocolate melts melted
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter, then add marshmallows and lower the heat.
  • Stir constantly to prevent sticking until the marshmallows are melted.
  • Remove from heat and pour in the Rice Krispies, stirring quickly until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the pan and press it evenly. (Use some butter or spray on your hands or parchment paper to prevent sticking).
  • Allow the mixture to cool in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes, then cut into pieces as desired.
  • Melt white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl using a microwave or a double boiler. Add food coloring gradually until the desired color is achieved.
  • Let it cool slightly before transferring to a piping bag, then drizzle over the treats and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Ensure butter and marshmallows are melted gently to avoid burning.
For a vibrant color, use gel food coloring instead of liquid.
Storing the treats in an airtight container will keep them fresh longer.
