Description

These Red, White, and Blue Tortilla Cups are a delightful treat! Featuring crispy tortillas, whipped cream, and fresh berries, they’re perfect for a quick and tasty dessert that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 small flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp natural sweetener (like Truvia)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • Optional: cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cut the tortillas into quarters using a pizza slicer.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted coconut oil and honey.
  4. Brush each tortilla quarter with the coconut oil mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Press three tortilla triangles in a muffin pan to form a cup shape.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool.
  7. In a mixing bowl, add the whipping cream, natural sweetener, and vanilla; beat until small peaks form.
  8. Fill each tortilla cup with whipped cream using a spoon or piping bag.
  9. Top the whipped cream with a mix of fresh berries.
  10. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top, if desired.

Notes

Ensure the tortillas are well-brushed with the coconut oil mixture for extra crispiness.
Feel free to use any fresh berries of your choice for a vibrant mix.
These cups can be made ahead of time; just assemble before serving.
