This Red, White and Blue Fruit Salad is a delightful summer treat, featuring sweet watermelon, crisp apples, and juicy berries. Perfect for barbecues or picnics, its easy preparation and colorful presentation will impress your guests.

- 1 small seedless watermelon or 1/2 of a large watermelon
- 8 apples
- ½ yellow honeydew melon
- 4 cups strawberries
- 2 cups raspberries
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 cup red grapes
- 1 cup blackberries
- lemon juice for soaking apples, 1 tablespoon per 1 cup of water
Instructions
- Wash all fruit and let them dry.
- Cut watermelon, apples, and melon into small squares. Adjust the size of strawberries as desired. Soak sliced apples in a lemon juice water mixture for at least 10 minutes if not serving immediately.
- Arrange blueberries and blackberries at the top left of the flag, then layer red and white fruits horizontally until the dish is filled.
- Cut an apple into star shapes and place the stars on top of the blue layer for a festive finish.
Notes
For extra color, use a mix of different apple varieties.
Try adding more berries or other summer fruits for variety.
Serve immediately for the best flavor and presentation.
