Description

Enjoy tender, flavorful Healthy Juicy Air Fryer Filet Mignon, featuring juicy steaks seasoned with Kosher salt and black pepper. This easy and healthy meal is perfect for a quick dinner, bringing restaurant quality to your kitchen effortlessly.


Ingredients

  • 14 (5–6 oz) filet mignon steaks
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • avocado oil spray, or another high-smoke-point oil for greasing the air fryer basket

Instructions

  • Pat the filets dry and generously season with salt and black pepper. Allow to sit at room temperature for 10–20 minutes before cooking.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and lightly grease the basket with avocado oil spray.
  • Place the seasoned filets in the air fryer basket. Cooking time is around 10–15 minutes; flip halfway for even cooking until reaching an internal temperature of 135°F for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.
  • (Optional) For garlic butter, combine softened butter, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Spoon over the steaks right after resting to allow it to melt on top.
  • Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain their juices.

Notes

For even cooking, make sure your steaks are at room temperature before air frying.
Experiment with additional seasonings such as garlic powder or herb blends for added flavor.
Use a meat thermometer to achieve your preferred level of doneness accurately.
