- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 3½ cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- Make chocolate cupcakes according to the package instructions, then allow to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine room temperature butter and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder to the butter mixture, mixing until smooth.
- Add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the frosting reaches desired consistency.
