Description

These Eyeball Jello Shots combine irresistible strawberry flavor with vodka for a festive treat. Simple to prepare, they feature gummy eyeball candies, making them ideal for parties and gatherings. Perfect for anyone looking for an easy and fun homemade dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ounce box Strawberry Jell-O gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ½ cup vodka
  • 12 gummy eyeball candies

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl with a pour spout, combine the strawberry gelatin and boiling water. Whisk until fully dissolved.
  2. Stir in the cold water and vodka until mixed well.
  3. Arrange 12 (2 ounce sized) jello shot cups on a rimmed tray to catch any spills. Pour the jello mixture into each cup, filling just to the rim, leaving ⅛ inch space at the top.
  4. Refrigerate the tray for 1 to 1 ½ hours until the jello is partially set and firm. Place one gummy eyeball candy on top of each jello shot.
  5. Return the tray to the refrigerator for an additional 1 ½ hours to overnight, allowing the shots to set completely. Once firm, add lids to the cups and stack them for storage until serving.

Notes

Ensure that the gelatin is completely dissolved before adding vodka.
Let the jello shots chill longer for a firmer texture if desired.
These jello shots can be made a day ahead for convenience.
