- up to 1/4 cup hot milk (optional) or pasta water
- 1 pkg fettuccine noodles – cooked to package directions
- freshly chopped parsley for garnish

- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat, then add the minced garlic and let it simmer for about a minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and half and half, whisking until fully blended, and allow it to gently simmer once more.
- Incorporate the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into the mixture by whisking it in.
- Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until it completely melts into the sauce without becoming stringy.
- Adjust the texture of the sauce by whisking in small amounts of hot milk or pasta water until it reaches your desired thickness.
- Combine the Alfredo sauce with the cooked fettuccine noodles and garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use more Parmesan cheese.
