Description

This Classic Caesar Salad features crisp romaine, tangy parmesan, and crunchy croutons tossed in a creamy dressing. It’s quick to prepare and ideal for a healthy meal or a light dinner that everyone will enjoy!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 910 oz. romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons

Instructions

  1. Whisk the egg yolk, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice together in a medium bowl until frothy.
  2. Gradually drizzle in the olive oil while whisking vigorously until the mixture thickens.
  3. Mix in the anchovy paste, Parmesan cheese, grated garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cracked black pepper until combined. Season with salt to taste and set aside.

Notes

You can adjust the anchovy paste to taste or omit it for a vegetarian version.
Make sure to use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
