Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cherries, pitted (frozen recommended)
- ½ cup sugar or monk fruit
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup cold brew (or 2 shots chilled espresso)
- ½ cup vanilla almond milk (Califia Farms suggested)
- 2 tbsp vanilla almond creamer (Califia Farms suggested)
- 2–3 tbsp homemade cherry simple syrup (to taste, based on sweetness preference)
Instructions
- Make the Cherry Simple Syrup: Combine cherries, water, and sugar or monk fruit in a pot on medium heat.
- Bring the mixture to a slight simmer, stirring lightly and pressing the cherries down as the sugar dissolves.
- Once the sugar has dissolved and the mixture thickens, your simple syrup is ready!
- Strain the syrup into a glass container, discarding the cherries, and allow it to cool before using.
- For the Iced Latte: Fill a glass with ice and pour in your desired amount of cherry syrup.
- Froth the milk and creamer together using a milk frother, if available.
- Pour the frothed milk and creamer into the glass, followed by the cold brew or chilled espresso.
- Stir well to combine and enjoy the beautiful pink hue.
Notes
Using frozen cherries can enhance the texture and flavor of your syrup.
Adjust the amount of simple syrup to suit your sweetness preference.
Feel free to use regular almond milk instead of vanilla almond milk if desired.
