Description

These Cheese Twists with Puff Pastry are a delightful snack that combines the rich flavors of white cheddar and parmesan, all wrapped in flaky pastry. They’re easy to prepare and perfect for entertaining or a quick treat!


Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Roll out two sheets of thawed puff pastry on a floured surface. Pour half of the melted butter on each sheet and spread it evenly.
  3. Sprinkle half of the garlic salt, shredded cheddar cheese, and parmesan cheese onto each sheet.
  4. Cut the sheets into strips about 3/4 inch wide. Twist the strips and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. In a bowl, whisk the egg with water and brush it over the twisted pastry.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until they are puffed and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve warm or at room temperature.
