Description

These Caramel Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful mix of crunchy and chewy textures, made with simple ingredients like Kraft Caramels and mini marshmallows, perfect for sharing or enjoying as a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, Unwrapped
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 7 1/2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Unwrap the caramels and set 10 aside.
  3. Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. While the caramels are melting, melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Remove from heat once melted. Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows until almost combined.
  5. Mix in the Rice Krispies. Fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows until well incorporated.
  6. Gently press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Melt the remaining 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and melted.
  8. Drizzle the melted caramels over the top of the mixture.
  9. Let cool and cut into squares.

Notes

For a more caramel flavor, increase the number of caramel candies used.
Make sure to press the mixture firmly into the pan for better shaping after cooling.
