Description

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking together seedless strawberry jam, lemon juice, honey (or sugar), and ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract in a small bowl.
  2. In a trifle bowl or dessert glasses, begin layering the ingredients: start with a layer of angel food cake, followed by a layer of the whipped cream mixture, then add a layer of strawberries and blueberries.
  3. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
  4. Refrigerate the trifle for a few hours to let the flavors meld together before serving.

Notes

You can use store-bought whipped cream to save time.
