Description

Banana Split Fluff Salad is a delicious dessert that combines the flavors of bananas, cherries, and chocolate in a fluffy mix. This simple recipe is perfect for gatherings or a quick treat at home, bringing a touch of sweetness to any occasion with easy preparation and delightful taste.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cool whip
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups mini-marshmallows
  • 1 3/4 cup pineapple chunks, drained
  • 2 bananas, peeled & sliced
  • 1 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 3/4 cup maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1/4 cup mini-chocolate chips
  • 12 tbsp chocolate syrup, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine Cool Whip, cherry pie filling, sweetened condensed milk, and sour cream until well blended.
  2. Right before serving, gently fold in mini-marshmallows, drained pineapple chunks, sliced bananas, chopped peanuts, drained maraschino cherries, and mini-chocolate chips.
  3. If desired, drizzle chocolate syrup over the top before serving.

Notes

For added texture, use different types of nuts or add more fruits like strawberries or blueberries.
Make sure to drain the pineapple and cherries well to avoid excess liquid in the salad.
Serve immediately for best freshness, especially the bananas.
