Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (10 oz) pillsbury refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 12 oz mountain dew

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Peel, core, and slice apples into 8 slices each.
  3. Place each apple slice in a Crescent Roll triangle, rolling from the wide end to the narrow tip, then secure.
  4. Repeat until all 16 triangles are filled and placed in the pan.
  5. Melt butter in a pot, add sugar and cinnamon, and mix well over low heat.
  6. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the dumplings in the pan.
  7. Gently pour Mountain Dew over the entire pan.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown and delicious.
  9. Serve warm for the best taste.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle some extra cinnamon on top before baking.
Serve with vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat!
Make sure to use Granny Smith apples for the perfect tartness.
