Description

These Air Fryer Salmon Bites are bursting with flavor and incredibly easy to prepare! With just a handful of ingredients, including salmon and spices, you’ll enjoy a healthy and delightful meal in no time. Perfect for a quick dinner or a light snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillets boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • Chili crisp oil (optional) for drizzling
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional) for garnish
  • Sliced green onion (optional) for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the salmon pieces and drizzle with olive oil; toss to coat evenly.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, and brown sugar. Sprinkle this mixture over the salmon and toss gently until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) when you're ready to cook.
  4. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding, and cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry the salmon bites for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and fully cooked.
  6. Take the salmon bites out of the air fryer and drizzle with chili crisp oil if desired.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions, and over rice if you like. Enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add more chili powder or drizzle extra chili crisp oil before serving.
Ensure you cut the salmon into even pieces for uniform cooking and crispiness.
Garnish options like toasted sesame seeds and green onions can elevate the presentation and flavor.
