Description

Enjoy flavorful Air Fryer Chicken Breasts that are simple to prepare and packed with taste. This dish features succulent chicken, a blend of spices, and is ideal for a quick and healthy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts – equal in size
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp dried thyme – or italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, dried thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika together.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to help the seasoning stick. Brush the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the chicken.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375℉ for 5 minutes. Place the chicken in a single layer and cook for 10 minutes. Flip and continue cooking for another 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165℉ when checked with a meat thermometer.
  • Transfer the chicken to a cutting board or plate and allow it to rest before slicing. This will keep the juices in, making the chicken tender and juicy. Slice and serve!

Notes

Resting the chicken after cooking is essential for retaining moisture.
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken for a few hours before cooking.
Ensure the chicken pieces are of equal size for even cooking.
