- 4 teaspoons cherry blossom syrup*
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder*
- ½ cup hot water
- ¼ cup cream, optional (60 grams)
Instructions
- Sift the matcha powder in a small bowl using a fine mesh sieve.
- Pour half of the hot water (¼ cup) over the matcha and whisk until foamy.
- Add the remaining hot water and stir gently to combine.
- In a jug or bowl, mix together the milk and cherry blossom syrup.
- Fill two large serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the sakura milk into them.
- Slowly layer the matcha tea on top to maintain visible pink and green layers.
- Top with cream if desired, and serve.
